Our Daddy

Tonight's entry is a tribute to "Our daddy" and my better half Mark...

Even though you have been gone a lot to various parts of the world over the last few years as well as spend many long hours at work and get many phone calls at all hours of the day and night...
And sometimes you can't tell us what is going on or where you are going when you have to suddenly leave...
We want you to know that we understand.
We want you to know we are grateful to you for serving our country and protecting the freedoms we so dearly cherish...
We want you to know how much you are loved not only by me, but by the four children who yell "daddy" and run up to you to give you a hug the minute you step foot in the door no matter what time it is...
You have many days that things weigh your mind, yet you are able to put your work behind you, come home and take the kids out back and start playing soccer with them or come in and ask "what can I do to help?"...
Not only was I blessed the day I met you, to see the wonderful man you are, but our children have been blessed to see what a wonderful father you are and showing them how a father and husband should be...
Thank you for all that you do...
Thanks for just being you!

I found this picture of you when you took Hunter & Josh to play your favorite pastime "Goofy Golf" with Cassidy & Kallie (nieces) last summer and wanted to share it along with your "babies" (his jets) that you so carefully make sure are in working condition and ready to fly each day for the pilots that serve our country too. Keep up the hard work it, it is finally paying off!

Love, Melissa, Hunter, Joshua, Hailey & Rylan

High fives to Mark and the service he is providing to our country with specialized high profile maintenance of the jets in his care. You said it all in your tribute to him. We are so very glad he is a part of our family.

I ditto Melissa's and Barbs remarks for you Mark. Keep up the good work. I know your reward is waiting for you and will come when you least expect it. I publicly have stated to several people that I have the two finest son-in-laws that a Father could. Our support will always be there for you and all our family members. Belated Happy Birthday, and we love you. Allen (aka Jim)
