Well I can't believe we are in the first week of August! Ya know what that means, summer is just about over, this month is filled with birthdays, and fall will be in the air soon. I can't get over how time flys! Just look at how much the kids have changed in one year. I took these pictures last summer when some of the Graham's, the Goolsby's, & the Dorman's met in Spanish Fork, Ala at Blakley Historic State Park. We all got to visit with one another, the kids got to play and Uncle Mark & Uncle John took all the kids on an "adventurous hike" through the deep dark woods where I think they saw a "big snake". I'm sure we all will never forget how hot and sticky it was that day, but we managed to keep cool with Aunt Mary's water balloons and Aunt Kathleen's and Aunt Barbara's watermelons . What an enjoyable day it was. What an enjoyable memory Aunt Kathleen, Aunt Mary, & Aunt Barbara have of some of their grandchildren, grandnieces & grandnephews! I know Grandpa & Grandma Truax would have been proud and would have enjoyed themselves watching their great grandchildren run around, playing, and seeing who could spit a watermelon seed the furthest. I think it ended up Hunter and Uncle John tied for spitting the most seeds!
Well I know we have "TONS" of birthdays this month and one Anniversary to celebrate so here it goes...Happy Belated Birthday to Jeffy, Happy Belated Anniversary to Jeff & Steph, Happy Birthday today to Aunt Kathleen (which the pictures are to celebrate her :D), Happy Birthday to Cassidy next week, Happy Birthday to Uncle David the week after that and Happy Birthday to Hunter at the end of the month. I think that should pretty much cover everyone for the month of August according to my birthday calendar. Enjoy your birthday wishes! This is one of my favorite birthday songs I like to sing at birthday time...it's out of the children's song book from church! Have a wonderful day celebrating you and all the accomplishments in your life! May next year bring much happiness as this year has.

Aunt Kathleen: Just wanted you to know, when I showed Hailey the picture of her an Aubrey, she said,"That's my friend, when can I go to her house and play." It just tickled me to death, cause I remember some of the conversations we have had in the past when you have shown Aubrey pictures of the kids that I have sent to you, she has asked the same thing. Immediately, Hailey went and got her shoes and was ready to go to get in the car and drive over to your house. LOL, Kids at this age just have no concept of distance and time. It gave me a good laugh!
Mimi keep of the good work, we will all keep in touch with you while you are away and who knows you may have more visitors than you can handle. Happy Birthday Kathleen. Hope yall had a great meal at Emerils, also Happy Birthday to any August kids I missed. Love you all

I love the pictures and comments from family. I guess I am the last to sign in. Looks like a lot of fun. It will be the perfect place for everyone to keep in touch while you are in Japan! The pic's and blog's of Jeffy are sweet. He enjoyed reading through them. Also a Happy Birhtday to everyone this month and last! It has been a crazy busy summer for us.
