I had the best time taking these pictures and really excited about how they turned out after editing them. Mark & Rylan drove Hunter, Joshua, Hailey, & myself around the area over by our church on Saturday. I had scouted out this area the week before so I kinda knew what I wanted to do. So, I would tell Mark where we needed to go, he'd drive us & we would quickly jump out the car and the kids would make the hike with me. The shot I took of the train, we were at the top of the Buddhist temple when I got that. You can get an idea of our perspective by looking at picture #2 with the stairs. After hanging out there for a bit, we went down the valley and across to the overpass of the train station. It was at the overpass I got the last picture and we waited around for another train to come back around the bend to get a different perspective. Just about the time it came, my battery died on my camera. I was really bummed...so I told the kids we would come back another day with the tripod, set up shop, & stake out the "train". This really is a pretty area of Misawa. I am so glad I captured these pictures. Since they turned out so well, I'm thinking about putting these on canvas & displaying them in the house somewhere. I'm taking orders for anyone who wants one or all! LOL
