Well we woke up to 18 inches of snow Saturday morning. After shoveling our front porch and sidewalk off with our neighbors, I decided to take the family off base to an Ice Sculptural Festival but found out it's not until February which was a bummer. I know some of you have been interested in seeing some of the sites of Misawa so we did venture out into town and took some pictures. The first four pictures are on the base in our housing area and the last one is a street going up to the local Buddhist temple, I included this picture in another series of pictures I took in town, but wanted you to see it in color. The snow is really pretty here!

You should be thrilled you are not in the Towers Building!!. The kids have a small yard to play and a home-living is so much more comfortable then apartment-living. I am sure when Spring comes around you will have your flower beds popping up around the front door. If nothing else, you can do your container planting. We love all of you and love the Blog.
