Landscaped pictures done in black & white are one of my favorite types of art you can photograph! I don't know what it is...but if you are able to find that perfect landscape and invite the viewer into your photograph, you create an appreciation for that particular moment of beauty. This is the second series of the area I have done here in Japan since we have been here. I have to say the last picture of the fence reflecting off the water is one of my favorites. I have a few other favorites in the winter series I did December called City Life. I'm not sure what I am going to do with these photos just yet...I think for now I will just admire their beauty.

You really have an eye to capture the beauty of Japan! You should make some of these pictures into hard copies. I wonder if you could make a "Coffee Table" book using the photographs. I know it is a lot of work, but keep posting the pictures! I love them and I love seeing what you are all doing! Have fun.
