These are the Kitayamazaki Cliffs....I promise the water is this blue...it's just like Hawaii...breath taking aren't they? These cliffs are south of Misawa about 3 hours away. We made it a day trip...had a little trouble finding the park, but it was so worth the wait! We had to hike down into the park to get to the cliffs...oh was that ever a workout...next time I will remember to wear tennis shoes and not flip-flops! We also heard if you drive another 1 hour south of here there is an actual beach that you can swim at and enjoy the same view...that will have to be a trip next summer!
