Hailey had orientation last week and her first day of school was Tuesday, September 2, 2008! So hard to believe she is a kindergartner this year. Hailey has her friend Natlie from church in her class, as well as they sit at the same table! We both were excited for her to have somebody she already knew on the first day. It made things a lot easier when I dropped her off at her line. We couldn't be any more happier with Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Eberhart, & Mrs. Ford. They all seem to be on top of it and have tons of patience for kindergartner's. Hailey has already started off the school year reading. She has such a love for books that reading came easy for her over the last year. She is still trying to get adjusted to the long day and finds herself coming home really tired. I'm sure it will take some time for her to get her new routine down. I am dropping her & the boys off in the carpool lane each morning and the boys walk her to the place she lines up for her class. Hunter picks her up from her classroom in the afternoon to make sure she gets to the carpool lane for pickup. He got the nicest complement today from my girlfriend who has seen him all week picking Hailey up. He is just so sweet with her. He asks her how her day was and holds her hand while they are walking and talking just like a big brother should. Josh on the other hand picked her up from her classroom on Wednesday and he left her behind once he saw his buddy! He such a typical boy...of course Hailey told on him the minute they got in the car that Joshua left her! Oh the brotherly & sisterly love...great memories!
Hailey, you look so cute. I like your school and your cubby holes. You look so cute in your new clothes for the first day of school. Be sure to make Josh wait for you after school. Hunter is a good brother too when he waits for you. You are getting to be such a big girl, and your hair looks like it is turning auburn colored now. Is it? Love you very much PaPa
