Well our Summer fun has come to an end...it's hard to believe November will be our 1 year mark and we have survived! Though summer has come to an end...we realize and are ready for school to start. July started off with our 4th of July camp out and Mark's birthday...I was so excited at how well his cake turned out that I made for him. We celebrated his birthday having a barbecue here at the house with friends and singing karaoke...that in itself was a site to see! August brought travel outside the Misawa area to the Kitayamazaki Cliffs, the beaches in Hacinohe, the beaches in Misawa, driving through a few fishing towns, Scout Camp, and tons of cool weather and some rain which is unusual for the month of August. We had tons of fun when Mark took leave and made some special memories of our family time together before he leaves for his deployment. Yes, summer has come to an end and I am somewhat sad to see it go, but ready for the excitement and fun that's around the corner of school starting for the boys and Hailey!

These are pictures I took when we were driving through a few fishing villages along the coastline while looking for the beach. Not sure which village this was, but the view from the highway was something I couldn't pass up!
