It's official Hailey has finally turned 5! Her birthday was September 26, 2008. She had her party on Saturday the 27 and it had to be a Scooby Doo birthday party! When I ordered her cake the cake decorator at the bakery was excited to decorate a Scooby Doo cake. She said, it's not a very popular cake that is ordered! I was glad to see she had a Scooby Doo cake kit cause it would have been the end of the world if Hailey didn't have a Scooby Doo cake. We played Scooby Doo bingo, made bracelets, and pass the balloon. It was a busy time here at the house I must say. Hailey got a lot of nice gifts from her friends but one of my favorites was the Scooby Doo purse she got from her little friend Savannah. It was a fun surprise to open and Hailey has gone anywhere without it since she has gotten it. I asked Savannah's mom where she got it and she had gotten while they were in Taiwan on clearance and had it in her birthday box to give as a gift. How cool was that! Anyways, my baby girl is now a little girl who is growing up into a beautiful young lady. I appreciate so many things about you Hailey that I want tell you how proud I am of you and the things you that make you YOU:
- I love that YOU learned how to read before starting kindergarten.
- I love that YOU play with, read to, and help your little brother Rylan.
- I love that YOU are learning how to ride your bike.
- I love that sweet smile YOU have and goofy little laugh.
- I love that YOU are a girly girl and like to fix your hair, paint your fingernails & toenails, wear dresses, and yet still be rough and tough with Hunter & Joshua.
- I love that your a Daddy's girl and will always be.
- I love that I am YOUR mommy and we are BEST FRIENDS!

Scooby Doo came to Hailey Sueanna's birthday party. Horrah for Scooby! You are so pretty Hailey Sueanna and a pride and joy for your Mommy and Daddy and Grammy Barbie and PaPa. We love you so much and we miss you lots and lots. Call me again real soon so we can talk about "your day".
Hailey Sueanna, we are so happy to know you can read. We were so happy to hear you had a Scooby Do birthday party. It just hit me that you've been gone for almost a whole year! I remember Hailey's fourth birthday party like it was yesterday . . . the cute Dora cake, the puppy purse from Linda . . . the wrapping paper lying all around as the girls all played with the new toys. What a beautiful, grown-up girl you have!

You have gotten so big. I can't believe it. My kids love Scooby Doo to. He is a silly dog!! So glad you had a wonderful birthday with your family and friends. We all wish we could have been there with you! Have a fabulous birthday year!!
