Christmas Eve was exciting and fun as you can imagine. After running around most of the morning and making cookie dough for Santa's cookies in the afternoon, I quickly found myself making spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, which is one of the kids favorite meals. Hailey couldn't eat fast enough and get in the bath so she could open the one present we let them open on Christmas Eve. So, after cleaning up and baths, we gathered around the Christmas tree and Hunter, Joshua, Hailey & Rylan opened their Christmas PJ's they get every year. This year, I let them open their gift from the Given gang in California who sent Webkinz. Webkinz are the new beanie baby from my generation. It's a virtual reality stuffed animal. Hunter got a peguin, Josh a dolphin, Hailey a "PINK" a poodle, (notice the word PINK...it's her favorite color) and Rylan a golden retriever who he named, Duke! Now realizing my mind was elsewhere, I didn't take any pictures of them in their PJ's with their new Webkinz before they went to bed...maybe I can back track and reenact Christmas Eve...I still have the tree up! Anyways, we read a book which has become one of our favorite Christmas stories, "The Crippled Lamb" had hot chochlate, cookies, and a Christmas movie before they went to bed. Joshua, Hailey, & Rylan were out the minute they hit the pillow, but Hunter on the other hand had a hard time settling down. I left him in his room watching a movie and threaten Christmas morning should he go downstairs. He FINALLY fell off to sleep and all of a sudden I heard Santa's sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer. I sat up in the bed, I heard a bit of a scuffle at the door of Santa trying to get in, that darn magic key just wasn't his friend. So, I went downstairs to help him in and stepped aside quickly so he could begin. Santa brought a"PINK" dollhouse and furniture for Hailey, a Wii for the boys, and a Geo Trax airport & two trains for Rylan. The stockings were filled, the cookies were eaten, and the reindeer were fed before Santa got his sled and flew out of site saying Merry Christmas to All and to All of Good Night!

Santa was really a good guy this year. Looks like Hunter, Josh, Hailey and Rylan got everything on their list. What did Santa bring Mom? Great moments to have recorded and memories to last forever.
I want a wii- when we were in Del Vivian became attached to my pink DSL and needless to say it is in De she plays solitaire on it. Can you believe it Steph after everything Hagen and I went through to get it. Oh well, glad I have these pictures to look out, since I am still in with this sore throat. The pictures are great as usual, and sounds like your bunch had a great christmas, hi mark, know you must be proud of your family thriving as they are under the circumstances
