Breakfast with Santa

We took the kids to have breakfast with Santa last Saturday at the club. We couldn't get over how many families showed up and needless to say the line to see Santa and Mrs. Claus was so long that we didn't get to see him. The coolest thing happened though as we came home before heading to Hunter's soccer game for the morning. Santa was walking in our neighborhood and Hailey & Rylan got to see him and tell him just what they wanted him to bring them from the North Pole! It was very exciting for Rylan and he couldn't wait to tell his Daddy when he came home. Joshua's best friend Daniel went with us to breakfast and I got the cutest picture of them both wearing reindeer antlers and a cherry lifesaver on their nose. They walked around the club and got a few good laughs from the other kids that were there. Daniel and Joshua have know each other since we got here 2 years ago. They have been in the same classes together since 2nd grade and both play indoor and outdoor soccer. Daniel's mom coaches their team. It's been really exciting to go to their games and see the both of them play. The two of them are asked all the time if they are brothers and they just grin and say no. Even though these two aren't related, they do have a friendship that bonds them together as brothers.
