Joshua played basketball again this season. He moved up to the bigger league this year because he turned 9. As a mom I was a bit concerned at first because he's still growing and not very tall, but of course that was not an issue at all for him. I learned rather quickly that Joshua can hang with the big boys. He rotated playing positions between point guard and shooting guard. His quickness and agility allowed him to get back on defense quickly and block a few shots by stealing the ball or standing tall and taking the foul. The team as a whole played and gel together very well but did have a losing season, I'm sad to report. Joshua had two great coaches that took the time to teach them all teamwork, sportsmanship, and all the basics of basketball. It too was a fun season as they did rally back a few games.

Joshua is shining star too. Looking more like Mark every day. Getting so tall. I can just tell he has so much energy and is on the ready for any sport. We will get to see him play some time. Miss you and love you so much. Grammy Barbie and PaPa
