four peas in apod: Gobble Gobble

Rylan and I went and had Thanksgiving lunch with Hailey. The whole first grade put on a Thanksgiving play. The kids were divided up in groups and assigned a part. Hailey asked Mrs. Crawford at the beginning of the week if she could be a pilgrim man. Mrs. Crawford told her, she could be whatever she wanted to be. So, the day of the luncheon I looked for her and found that she was the only girl among the group of Pilgrim Men (which was all boys)! I just laughed and thought it was the GREATEST thing she could have ever done! I asked her while we were eating lunch why she wanted to be a pilgrim man and she said, all her friends were in that group and that's where she wanted to be. That's my girl...loves to be rough & tough, but a girly girl too!
