Squadron Party

Mark and I attended his squadron Christmas Party this year. It was rather early to 'Tis the Season given that his squadron was notified the Friday of that they were having an inspection the following Monday with UCI team from Hawaii since they were missed back in October due to deployments. So needless to say, the entire squadron worked all weekend but was able to take time out from work and attend the dinner if you had bought a ticket. It was nice to get dressed up and see good friends at this event, but as usual the food wasn't that great as well as the door prizes and games that were played. Mark and I were bummed that our ticket number wasn't called the entire night. Though we did get a call from Joshua to come home early. He was complaining of a headache and not feeling good. Needless to say it was the beginning of ALL the kids getting sick and starting off the following with all of them home with the flu. It's that time of year!
