My little monkey Rylan turned 4 in October...I can't believe how much he has grown up in the two years we have been gone from the states! He started preschool in September and absolutely LOVES it! In the 3 short months he's been going, his handwriting skills have really picked up. This kid loves to write and always has a little notebook and pencil with him everywhere we go. I think he sees me with my list when we run errands that it has rubbed off on him! I made Race Car cupcakes and we took them to school where his class sang Happy Birthday to him. I have to say that being 4 is an awesome age for little ones. They are becoming little people that can think for themselves and have an opinion. Sometimes those little comments can just make your day. I have really enjoyed being at home with Rylan over the last two years. We truly have had some great little moments together.
Here are some random things Rylan has said this year....
- Just this morning....Holy French Fry, I got a bike from Santa!
- Asta wa we sta Babe, (Asta la vista, Baby)
- Mom we need more Hookers! Hookers...as I laughed...yeah you know hookers for the Christmas ornaments!
- I love you Mommy.
- Who wants to ride with Daddy? I don't !
- No it's a bird, no it's a crow !
- Play with his Geo Trax train and Thomas the Trains.
- Play with all of his Disney Race cars.
- Loves putting jigsaw puzzles together.
- Having books read to him and reading them himself.
- Cuddles with mommy on the couch when watching Sesame Street.
- Riding his bike
- Likes to cook in the kitchen and just be a good little helper
- Loves monkeys and being a MONKEY!
